#ProductReview: Nektar Honey Crystals #beesweet

I am not a big sugar user. If I don't absolutely have to use I won't.

Nowadays there are so many different alternatives to sugar where you would never have to buy sugar again. There are even books to help you "quit" sugar; it's a terrible habit to have. Well, here is something that you can add to your list of sugar alternatives. Nektar Honey Crystals.

Nektar Honey Crystals are 100% all natural granulated honey made from natural cane sugar and natural honey.  These delicious Nektar Honey Crystals allow  you to use honey all "without the sticky mess!" of traditional liquid honey.  They are the ideal choice to add to your hot tea, lemonade, or sprinkled on top of oatmeal or yogurt. Try them with your favorite marinades, or baked on top of meats and poultry. Since Nektar Honey Crystals are easy to measure, substituting them for regular sugar while baking is as easy as pie.

Nektar Honey Crystals are
  • All natural
  • Non-GMO
  • Naturally gluten-free
I am all for all natural products. I don't like all those extra chemicals and things.

I used my Nektar Honey Crystals in my tea. It is the cold and flu season and everyone has been sick in my home at some point in the last few months. Instead of using sugar everyone tried the Nektar Honey Crystals. There were no complaints in our home.

There are many other ways you can enjoy Nektar Honey Crystals in your favorite recipes, sprinkled on your morning oatmeal or stirred into your favorite beverage. The new six ounce easy pour bottle is a natural in the kitchen, bringing “spice rack” convenience to our sweet little friends.

  • Pour into your favorite beverage, hot or cold
  • Sprinkle on your morning oatmeal
  • Add honey flavor to your cereal
  • Sweeten fresh fruit
  • Clean up your sticky peanut butter and honey sandwiches
  • Mix in your smoothies
  • Glaze your grilled fish, chicken or pork chops
  • Add to your dry rub for a touch of sweet
  • Sweeten your favorite barbecue sauce
  • Top delicious summer salads

Nektar Honey Crystals are available in Walmart locations across the US: https://www.nektarnaturals.com/locator2.php

#ProductReview: MealEnders: The Antidote to Overeating #FitHoliday

With the holidays in full swing . so is the food, sweets, and all the tasty treats. Overeating is very common during this time of year. Potlucks, holiday parties, cookie exchanges; you know what I'm talking about. Food is everywhere.

I can honestly say I have a problem with overeating. I stepped on the scales the other day and was not very pleased with the number; but we will talk about that on another day.

MealEnders has given me the opportunity to try out their product that is suppose to be the antidote to overeating. So, you know I had to try it out.

MealEnders Signaling Lozenges are a first-of-its-kind weight management tool designed to curb overeating and teach portion control using a combination of behavioral psychology and sensory science. Free of stimulants or other harmful “diet” ingredients, MealEnders catalyze behavioral change by retraining the mind to stop eating with the eyes.

MealEnders consist of two components: a sweet, outer reward layer and a cooling/tingling inner core. The outer layer provides a measured dose of “dessert” associated with the end of a meal, while the inner core engages the trigeminal nerve (the nerve that senses “taste”) with long-lasting cooling/tingling sensations that cleanse the palate.

Sucking on a lozenge when you know you’ve consumed enough — but can’t stop — keeps your mouth and mind occupied during the 20-minute Overeating Zone, giving your body’s natural satiety process time to catch up. MealEnders are an easy, safe and sustainable way to curb your appetite.

Each Signaling Lozenge contains only 2 grams of sugar and 15 calories…and they taste great!

There are four flavors; Cinnamon, Mocha, Chocolate Mint and Citrus. I tried the mocha flavor first the outer layer taste like chocolate, which I don't mind, and it smells like coffee. The chocolate mint was second. chocolate on the outside and mint flavor on the inside. These where my two favorite.

I didn't like the after taste of the citrus, it left a bubbly feeling that I just didn't feel right about. The cinnamon was last in my line up. Overall, MealEnders are great. They helped me to fight those second helpings and dessert trays.

I would recommend MealEnders for those that are trying to cut the after dinner cravings. Think of it as a after dinner mint.

#NoExcuses Monday Challenge Mad Lib #Sweatpink

  • Hey 2015, it’s me Kechell from K is for Kechell.

  • This year I would like to get to my healthy weight, develop a more healthy lifestyle, and stay focus.

  • It would also be super duper awesome if I also did a marathon this year. It’s not a resolution, though, just a reminder to myself to try and have the best year yet because I can do anything I set my mind to.

  • The thing I am looking forward to most this year is getting fit and healthy.

  • I’ll use the one thing that truly gets me out of bed in the morning which is my workout buddy (my brother) to help me get up, get moving and get after my #NoExcuses 2015.

  • Speaking of excuses (ahem), my very favorite excuse is I have something else to do and I have used it to get out of going to the gym on more than a few occasions.

  • I vow to move my body and be more healthy this year even if it means I have to get up early every morning for the rest of my life.

  • Even if my alarm clock gets eaten by the dog in the middle of the night, I'll still get up early and go to the gym.

  • I will stop blaming my nephew for eating the rest of the ice cream when everyone knows it was really me.

  • My bed is not the reason I make excuses. I will show my bed who's boss this year and get my run on.

  • I know that walking is better than nothing.

  • I will reward myself by buying new clothes.

  • No Excuses 2015 has just begun and already I am imagining myself a winner. I can’t wait to rock a pair of yoga pants from Augusta Active. I can’t wait till my sweaty friends are jealous of how fresh, clean and cool I am between workouts with help from ShowerPill body wipes. I can see myself rocking squats in new

Partie Hoodie from Actio926 and looking fit and fly while doing it. And of course, I’ll be taking my workouts to the next level and improving my form with my new ActivMotion Bar to help me train for my next  5k race with Sasquatch Racing.

  • Oh, and let’s not forget how amazing my sweater will smell during my dance aerobic class after washing with some WIN Detergent. And lastly, I’ll keep rocking my 2015 with clean eats and nutrition from Beaming with Health!

#SweatPink #NoExcuses Challenge: 30 sec. plank

Join me in the no excuses sweat pink challenge.
Today is 30 sec. plank.

How To Plank:
  1. Start off on a yoga mat in the pushup position. Starting with the pushup position is the easiest way to get into the plank.
  2. Lower both your forearms to the ground so that both your elbows and fists are flat to the ground. Your palms should be balled up, and directly underneath your shoulders.
  3. Curl your toes under and engage your abs by tilting your pelvis and pulling your belly button toward your spine.
  4. Straighten your body but keep your neck and spine neutral. Imagine that you’re a plank of wood, and that you’re straight as an arrow.
  5. Flex your abdominals and squeeze your glutes. These are the two major muscle groups you’ll be working out in this exercise.
  6. Hold this position, also known as the plank, until after the burning begins. Keep your eyes on the floor in front of you. Avoid raising your behind. Your body should make a straight line from your heels to the back of your head.
