#HelloMay - Monthly Goals

We made it to May! This year has been bit crazy to say the least and everyone has been going through it.

Monthly goals

Can we get a redo, asking for a friend. I'm some what considered an essential worker, so I still have work which can be a blessing and a curse at the same time (not working at home . . . at the office). I finally added all my debt up and man let me tell you, it is time to get a grip on it and obtain some financial freedom (or a least something close to it). One more bad news, I gained 10 pounds putting me at the heaviest I have ever been 270 (no more mindless snacking)
To end on a good note, I got a new fur baby! His name is Raider and he's a Siberian Husky. More off him later.

Here are my goals for the month:

Spiritual:
  • Read my Bible daily and tune in to the live streams from church.
  • Start a Gratitude Journal
Relationships:
  • Write a letter to someone
Health:
  • Lose 10 pounds
  • Get in 11,000 steps a day (Fitbit goal)
  • Increase my water intake
Financial:
  • Create a budget (and stick to it this time)
  • Create another source of income
  • Put $308 in my savings account (and keep it there 😏)
Professional:
  • Start the 60-day Linked challenge
  • Read 2 Books

#HelloDecember - Monthly Goals

Christmas is like 23 days away!!! EEK!!! 2019 is nearly over! Did you keep your new year's resolutions? Or are you trying to get them all done now? I don't do the whole new year's resolution thing, I never keep them.

This month should be a fun one. I always look forward to the fall season. I don't know if it's because of the food or the baked goods, but either one is a good reason to me. What has happened since the last time we talked? I'm going through a career change, I have racked up lots of debt (not due to the career change), and I went to Israel (I will share some pics later). I'm going through a lifestyle change as well; more healthy and natural.

I am on a new journey (or season) in my life and I want to share more of it with you all.

Let's end 2019 strong so we can start 2020 even stronger.

Here are my goals for the month:

Spiritual:
  • Read my Bible daily
  • Start a Gratitude Journal
Relationships:
  • Connect with one person (in-person)
  • Write a letter to someone
Health:
  • Lose 10 pounds
  • Get in 11,000 steps a day (Fitbit goal)
  • Increase my water intake
Financial:
  • Create a budget (and stick to it this time) -
  • Create another source of income
  • Put $308 in my savings account (and keep it there 😏)

#HelloJuly - Monthly Goals

The first half of 2019 has came to an end.

Long time no post! I have been a bit busy and my head is spinning in all directions. I have gotten to the point where I am feeling overwhelmed. With so much to do and only 24 hours in a day to do it all. I think I'm doing my best.

Last year was pretty exciting. In April, I went to El Salvador for a week long mission trip and in October I took a day mission trip to Mexico. This year in September I will be taking a 10 day trip to Israel (not a mission trip).

I have started to gear things up with my organization (GURLSociety). We did a few tabling events and will be starting our Power Orchid Network soon.

As I enter into July I feel I am lacking in all parts of my life, like I'm not doing as much as I should be or could be. The year is pretty much half way over and I have yet to cross anything off my goal list, instead I just push the date back. I need some serious accountability.

Here are my goals for the month:

Spiritual:
  • Read my Bible daily
  • Start a Gratitude Journal
Relationships:
  • Connect with one person (in-person)
  • Write a letter to someone
Health:
  • Lose 10 pounds
  • Get in 11,000 steps a day (Fitbit goal)
  • Increase my water intake
Financial:
  • Create a budget (and stick to it this time) - I just finished Financial Peace University
  • Create another source of income
  • Put $308 in my savings account (and keep it there 😏)
